Skagen Beach

Skagen Beach, or known as Brunstranda by the locals, is a well known beach in the island
of Flakstad, Lofoten. As i drove by earlier this day, a dozen of surfers had lot of fond in the arctic water. Unfortunatly my Nikon was outloaded, so I missed some spectacular shots at those guys.

You always take me to another world. Thank you so much. What a fascinating place. The single bird is very effective here, as its color (against the darker background) reflects the snow. I actually forget that there can be beaches in such cold and isolated places. When one speaks of beaches I think of Hawaii, etc.
